What digital pinball does offer is a valid alternative. Don’t get me wrong, I love real pinball and am not here to convince you digital is better. My name is Chris, and I am a digital pinball junkie. Do not subject yourself to the disappointment and distress that I experienced with Xtreme Gaming Cabinets.A Beginner’s Guide to Virtual Pinball by Chris Friebus There are certainly other companies out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and value their patrons, providing both high-quality products and superior customer service. I urge anyone considering Xtreme Gaming Cabinets to explore alternative options. Customers deserve better treatment and accountability for their hard-earned money. The extreme delay in delivery, the receipt of a defective product, and the unprofessional conduct of the owner make them an unreliable and disrespectful company to deal with. It is disheartening to witness the disappointment and sadness in their faces, which was undoubtedly caused by Xtreme Gaming Cabinets' lack of quality control and customer care.īased on my experience, I strongly advise against purchasing from Xtreme Gaming Cabinets. They were crushed by the receipt of the defective unit and the subsequent mistreatment we encountered. The impact of this experience on my children cannot be overemphasized. The verbal abuse and derogatory remarks from the owner only added insult to injury. As a customer, I deserved to be treated with respect and understanding, especially given the significant investment I made. To say that this level of customer service was unprofessional and unacceptable would be an understatement. Instead of offering support or expressing empathy, he proceeded to scream at me and belittle me for expressing my disappointment with the defective product. However, I was met with the most appalling treatment from Daryl, the owner himself. Hoping for a reasonable resolution, I reached out to Xtreme Gaming Cabinets' customer service department in the hopes of finding assistance and guidance. Instead, their excitement turned into heartbreak upon the realization that the unit was faulty. This was devastating, as I had purchased it for my two children, who were eagerly looking forward to enjoying countless hours of gaming fun. Upon its arrival, the arcade cabinet was not only defective but completely unusable. Unfortunately, both fell far short of what I had anticipated. As a customer who purchased an arcade cabinet from them at a substantial cost of nearly $10,000 (including shipping and tax), I had high expectations for both the product and the customer service. I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Xtreme Gaming Cabinets, and I feel obligated to share my honest feedback. I used second hand monitors (but good quality). DIY build: I made a simple case design in SketchUp, something I can make with a drill and a jigsaw. I do use Pinup Popper and Pinup Player for the VPX tables. I am really happy with the haptic feedback Sound vibration feedback: a 2.1 system with 2 exciters and 1 bass puck is simple to install with a little Chinese 2.1 amplifier. If I wouldn't like the pinball I could still use the PC. use a PC in the case (an Small Factor PC with an upgraded GPU). Preparations (investigating on line, ordering parts and designing) took a month in my spare time. What I did is stick to essentials and simplify as much as possible. I made my own mini pin without real previous experience and zero DIY build experience.
